Set in Rome during a time of political unrest, the opera follows the celebrated singer Floria Tosca as she becomes caught between her love for the artist Mario Cavaradossi and the ruthless power of Baron Scarpia. As danger closes in, Tosca is forced to make an impossible choice with devastating consequences.
